Ecoflex 15 Plus Heatex is a halogen-free and flame-retardant coaxial cable for use in buildings, plants, ships and hazardous areas. The strong increase in demand for low-loss cables, which meet all the relevant requirements with regard to flame retardancy and low emissions in the event of fire, led to the development of the Ecoflex cables with Heatex jacket. Ecoflex cables with Heatex sheaths are flame retardant and have a low fire propagation. Heatex coats are low in smoke, the escape routes remain visible in case of fire. Heatex coats are halogen-free and contain no reactive elements such as fluorine, chlorine and bromine. They do not produce corrosive gases which can lead to high property damage. By contrast, standard coaxial cables with a PVC sheath are not halogen-free and therefore can not be used in hazardous areas. Critical to PVC cables is also the possible transmission of the flames in case of fire - a danger that exclude Ecoflex Heatex cables safely. The UV stability of the durable Heatex jacket also allows unrestricted outdoor use. Ecoflex 15 Plus Heatex has a 7-core hybrid core conductor with aluminum core and welded copper sheath.
